Rhodes' famous Butterscotch Bubble Loaf is our most requested recipe every year. Watch how easy it is to make this "sticky buns" classic, and you too will be hooked on baking this bundt!

Prep Time: 20 min (not including thaw time)
Bake Time: 30-35 min
Servings: 10-12
Skills: Beginning

  1. 24 Rhodes Yeast Dinner Rolls, thawed but still cold
  2. 1/2 of a 3.5 ounce box butterscotch or vanilla pudding mix, non-instant
  3. 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  4. 1/2 cup brown sugar
  5. 1/2 cup butter or margarine

Cut dinner rolls in half and dip in dry pudding mix. Arrange rolls in sprayed bundt pan, alternately with pecans. Sprinkle any remaining pudding mix over the top.

Combine brown sugar and butter. Heat together until butter is melted and a syrup is formed (microwave about 1 1/2 minutes). Pour syrup over rolls. Cover with sprayed plastic wrap. Let rise until double in size or even with top of bundt pan.

Carefully remove wrap. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes. Cover with foil the last 15 minutes of baking.

Immediately after baking, loosen from sides of the pan with a knife and invert onto a serving plate.

Make sure you don't use instant pudding, the recipe will not turn out right if you do. Very delicious recipe!

This was a family favorite when I was raising my kids. We called it Monkey Bread. I got the recipe from a local newspaper. Today it is a favorite with my grandkids.  Anephew from Ohio has to have it every time they come to Iowa - ro we go out there. Really a winner! ! ! !

A coworker gave me this recipe years ago.  My family loves the "Bubbleloaf". We always have it for Christmas brunch! Everyone looks forward to having it.  It is quick & easy to make. Thank you for the great recipe.

This recipe is a holiday morning tradition. I start it the night before to bake in the morning. Follow the above recipe, but only allow it to slightly raise in the pan Refrigerate covered pan overnite. In the morning set pan in a warm spot to finish raising. Bake and enjoy! This is my most requested recipe!!!

I have made this for decades, and my mom made it for us when we were young. Any nut will work, even a mix of nuts. Oh my, so very good, I actually have one in my oven right now for Sunday after New Year's Day for family and guests.

I have made this for years. My husband doesn't like having to share it, so I always have to make 2 so that there is enough for him AND the boys. I have interchanged instant and non-instant pudding (because I always forget which it calls for when I'm at the store) and have never had any problems.

I am a Relief Society President for the Kearns 10th Ward.  We have 48 women going to a Baking Class tomorrow & everyone are so excited.  There are 10 young women in this group.  What an opportunity for them to learn fun cooking ideas with bread.     President Jo Andrus of the Kearns 10th Ward

Do most people prefer vanilla or butterscotch pudding?
